Mental Health Open Forums

The Future Directions Network holds three Open Forums each year.

The Forums are open to the general public to attend and mental health service providers, practitioners, consumers and families are especially encouraged to attend and participate. Each of the Open Forums has a theme and normally consists of several presentations with plenty of opportunities for questions and answers followed by an open forum session facilitated by Future Directions members.

Open Forums provide an opportunity to update local communities on what's going on in the Mental Health Sector and to give locals the opportunity to provide the network with feedback on local services and issues.

The dates and venues of the 2009 Open Forums are:

	Wednesday April 29th	10am-12.30pm	Order of St John, Douglas St, Frankton, Queenstown
	Friday August 7th	10am-12.30pm	James Cumming Wing, Gore
	Wednesday October 7th	10am-12.30pm	The Elmwood, Dee Street, Invercargill
