Non-Government providers deliver an invaluable range of community based specialist mental health services in the Southland District. They include alcohol and drug services, youth, adult and elderly services, accommodation and residential services and activity and rehabilitation services. The providers detailed on this website are those that have contracts with the Southland District Health Board to deliver mental health services in Southland.
NGOs work closely with SDHB provider arm services, the primary care sector and other government agencies and community groups to deliver services that are coordinated, outcome focused and which provide consumers and families with continuity of care.
