Mental Health Sector Profile - Awarua Social and Health Services
Awarua Social and Health Services deliver the Maori component of the 'About Face Tahuri Atu' programme. The service is based in Invercargill and is a District-Wide contract. The programme is delivered to 'at-risk' young people. The programme is jointly funded by the SDHB, Child Youth and Family Service and Ministry of Social Development. Awarua also deliver a range of other services to young people including truancy programmes and Parents as First Teachers.
